How to Split Screen with Notion on iPad
To split screen with Notion on iPad, open Notion, swipe up from the bottom edge to reveal the Dock, then drag a second app's icon to the left or right edge of the screen until a divider appears. Notion and the second app then run side by side, each updating independently.
Method 1 — the built-in way (no extra app needed)
- Open the Notion app and load the page or database you want visible.
- Swipe up briefly from the bottom edge to reveal the Dock without closing Notion.
- Find the second app in the Dock, adding it there first if it isn't already pinned.
- Touch and hold the app's icon and drag it to the screen's edge until the vertical divider appears, then release.

If it's not splitting
